An honest conversation before you make a big commitment.
Enthusiasm gets an idea started. It doesn't answer every question about whether the business can work.
The Next Chapter Session is a fixed-fee, 90-minute working conversation. We'll look at your idea, the market, what it could take to get started, and what needs more homework before you spend a lot of money.
You've had a career, learned a few things, and still have something you want to build. It might be a consulting practice, a restaurant, or a business built around a skill you've spent years developing.
This is especially useful for people considering a small, owner-operated business. You don't need a finished business plan. Bring the idea and a willingness to look at it honestly.
You'll receive a short written summary of the conversation, key takeaways, and recommended next steps. Sometimes the next step is to move ahead. Sometimes it's more research, a smaller start, or deciding the timing isn't right.
If you need ongoing help with marketing or operations, we can discuss that separately. A session is a way to think through a decision, not a commitment to a larger engagement or an investment.
Some decisions need more research than we can do in a conversation. I also prepare market feasibility studies covering potential customers, market size, current pricing, competitors, and what it could take to compete.
Each study has a fixed scope and fee. The purpose is to give you useful information for a decision, including reasons an idea may need more work.
