Sloppy Joe's Saloon & Spoon

Before the Turn

Matt, Greg, Josh, and Colleen Prostek brought different experience to the same opportunity.

Matt had spent years in restaurants, including time working at Sloppy Joe's earlier in his career. He knew the pace of the work and what hospitality asks of an owner.

Greg and Josh brought construction experience and practical knowledge of evaluating and improving a property. Colleen's real estate background added another perspective on the property and its long-term possibilities.

Those skills gave the family a useful place to start.

Their Next Chapter

In June 2026, the Prosteks purchased Sloppy Joe's Saloon & Spoon in Hubertus, Wisconsin.

They were taking over a place people already knew and cared about. That brings an interesting responsibility: respect what customers love while making room for your own plans.

The family plans to remodel and improve the property, building on what people already appreciate about Sloppy Joe's.

For Matt, there's a personal connection, too. The restaurant where he once worked is now part of his family's future.

How I Helped

I'd been handling the Concrete CMS website and email marketing for the previous owners, Joe and Ellen Hennes. When the Prosteks bought Sloppy Joe's, they chose to keep working with me.

That gave them some continuity while they took on the other responsibilities of ownership. The website, 1,000-subscriber email list, and birthday club carried over, and we keep them active.

As their plans develop, I help the marketing keep up. I also work with a specialist on social media and in-house promotional materials.

The family brings the vision, restaurant knowledge, and property experience. I help keep customers informed as this familiar local business begins its next chapter.
